Consumers and Diversity Part I

Upward social mobility, quoting Bettering the World in an article I wrote in college, is a sacred belief that Americans must act for and protect. With respects to locally made workers and community members, including diversity of geography, different colleges, and utilizing affirmative action type programs bring some interest to work. Opportunity can expand fairness horizons worth any stripe of civil rights. Individuals should bring their varied experiences and new perspectives for additional ideas and local excitement.

Detroit and Morals - an Emerging Movie Genre

The latest art house commercial movie playing locally titled The Solitary Man portrays moral themes understandably and complex enough by including women. We like men making a comeback, young women are fun to play at as life, and our battles to recover can be stymied by a tough cookie of a relationship crossed. Helping college kids by testing women for quality vs. sex takes charisma. I appreciate the main character for his own humanity and contributions and not for acting like a jerk to women in person.

Domestic Violence and Related Tests for Clients

The local newspaper recent top story states, "Sheriff's Domestic Violence Arrest Stuns the Community." The man who was reported as the dominant aggressor was an advocate for woman and children in his civic life. Perhaps in a policy to protect victims, we don't read the private details of the story. Without defending a harsh law man, sometimes women try to provoke a man for testing and control. Is he real? How does he handle anger? Are we distinct from past lives? Questions like this are in the minds of professionals and family members with the mental health system.

Critical Thinking and Diversity

Collating information, gathering intelligence, and synthesizing opinions and describing alternate ways of thinking is a definition of critical thinking. Having freedom means expressing thoughts that can be different from others and doing so free from harm or restriction. The point of diversity in the work place is only partly to provide opportunity to oppressed workers. Diversity is to count in different points of view and finding new solutions to challenges that the existing mindset might not ever notice as worthwhile or have the courage to do otherwise.

Soft on the Problem

Conformity and punishment leads criminal justice for adults. A jurisdiction applying corrections with intolerance and a lack of understanding is often unfair and is not always efficient to strengthening progress. Utilizing my elected school board wishes as an official I spoke on the board against "behavior catches" in favor of character enhancing learning methods. Instead of so much tattle telling and making examples of unwanted behavior, we could reform people holistically with community supports.

New START Treaty Can Be People

The U.S.-Russian negotiations resulting with the New START Treaty can mean more than reducing nuclear arsenals by applying a name like that to domestic and foreign policy and American attitudes. A beginning was the changing from the Soviet Union in the early 1990s. Our electing an African American President, as I have referenced before, brings Post-Structural philosophy to respect in our stretching to the limits of change. We were radicalized to a degree after the electoral college upset of the 2000 Presidential election.

Business and Professions Code

Adding ethics laws and aiming progressive regulations are necessary to make a more moral economy.

Families need to support their members. Solemn prayer does not make for fun connections that are important to young people. The objective for family time spent together on outings like picnics, museums, ball games, etc is to have good positive feelings. Keep in mind your future, and those memories are vastly important of the better aspects of your family. Remembering your youth needs to be an inner strength if your journey of life includes the long haul of mental illness. The present company and circumstances can be difficult to teenagers.

It's quite possible and technical to Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs to be friendly and loving in a big way according to accomplishments in the self esteem and actualization needs. Rising up the order requires each of the 5 stages of needs to be met as you go up the pyramid after fulfilling the need before moving on the next. Self actualizing needs and self esteem needs can include Grandparenting and Big Love in productive output like the right electioneering, book publication, or educating audiences that are important to you.
